Why you want to study architecture at MSA?

The more I read outcomes for Manchester School of Architecture, the more I further trigger my ambition to study the desired degree from me at this university. It caught my attention with the work and social experience it provides for its students. Due to the fact that both of them go hand-in-hand for improving yourself, while gaining skills. Moreover, there are range of events, which enrich every students’ life. Another thing to focus my mind on is the location of the university, the cultural city and the multicultural environment. I truly believe that Manchester School of Architecture will reflect me on a higher educational level if I have the chance to fulfill my ambition by studying at this worldwide known university.

Your own review of a recent exhibition or building that you have visited.

I have recently visited the cultural and touristic capital of Germany – Berlin and went to many architectural places. The museum, which left a great mark on me was the Pergamon Museum. I was fascinated not only by the marvelous exterior but also by the creative design of the interior and the exhibitions. As this astonishing building is a national heritage, being in Berlin could be fully accomplished by visiting this incredible museum, which presents diversity of work of artists from all over the world.

A statement about your favourite building.

My favourite building is Boyana Church. It has had classical architectural forms since 10th century and has undergone many transformation until nowadays. The church has richly decorated facades and ceramic elements. Inside it there are 240 very impressive medieval wall paintings that represent different artistic periods. This two storey building also contributes perfectly to the surrounding environment. All of these make it cultural symbol of Bulgaria, national heritage and UNESCO monument.

A work of architecture which you would like to experience in person.

Guggenheim museum is the building, I would like to experience in person. What make it more desirable place for me to visit are the various exhibitions of artworks from different periods and many masterpieces by noted artists can be seen there. The museum is a cultural icon – a monument of eternal architecture. I also like that the museum is situated in the heart of New York City and surrounded by Central Park. Its situation contributes to the environment and makes it essential architectural landmark. The museum attracts me more with its cylindrical exterior form and creative interior. I look forward the time when I will visit this outstanding building.
